Glove Technology
Spider-Web™ Palm Stitch
Our proprietary palm pattern — 24 internal stitch points laid out in a spider-web grid that locks the palm into the handle without the bulky padding most slalom gloves rely on. Distributes 60+ lbs of pull force evenly across the palm so no single tendon takes the load. The same stitch pattern is used on the Apex, GMS, and Ultra Grip — different palm materials, same Spider-Web spine.
Mold-Lock™ Cuff
Most waterski gloves rely on a top strap to hold the glove to the wrist. Top straps fail — they pop open under heavy loads, snag on handles, and stretch out within a season. We replaced the top strap with the Mold-Lock cuff: a contoured neoprene seal that molds to your wrist and locks under the handle bar. No flap. No velcro tab. Nothing to fail. The Apex and GMS use Mold-Lock V2 — slightly thicker neoprene with a hidden internal silicone bead for grip retention.
Kevlar + Alcantara Construction (Apex)
Apex is the only glove in our lineup with a full Kevlar back-of-hand panel infused with Alcantara — the same Italian microfiber used in Ferrari and Pagani interiors. Kevlar gives you 5× the tear resistance of standard nylon. Alcantara absorbs sweat and stays grippy when wet — most gloves get slippery as the palm wets out, Alcantara gets grippier. The Apex palm is also reinforced with a Spider-Web™ stitch pattern over Alcantara, finished with a Mold-Lock™ cuff.
Amara Palm (Ultra Grip + GMS)
Amara is a synthetic suede that we hand-select for its consistency — the same material used in high-end driving gloves. It gives you maximum grip when wet without the absorption that makes Alcantara slip on cold mornings. Amara is the right pick for trick skiers (GMS) and cold-water slalom (Ultra Grip). Lower break-in time than leather, longer life than nylon.

Kevlar Liner Underlayer (Ultra Liners)
Ultra Liners are an underlayer worn beneath your primary glove for cold-water tournaments or long training sessions. Kevlar shell on the back of the hand for cut resistance against the handle bar wear pattern. Thin enough to wear under any of our gloves (Apex, GMS, Ultra Grip) without changing the fit. Most slalom skiers wear them October through May in Florida; year-round in Canada and the Midwest.
