In 2022, Matias Gonzalez did something nobody in trick skiing had ever done. He scored over 13,000 points in a single pass.
Trick skiing is two passes of 20 seconds each. You ride toe holds. You spin. You combine moves into runs that look impossible on paper. The point system rewards difficulty and execution, and for decades 13,000 was the ceiling — the number every tricker chased, no tricker hit.
Matias broke it. Then he kept breaking it.
When we built the second generation of our lightweight glove, we didn’t want to call it V2. We wanted to call it what it actually is — the glove a world record needed.
The 13k V2 is built around what Matias asked for. Featherlight enough that you don’t notice it on your hands when you’re rotating. Gripped enough that the handle stays where you put it through every move. Spider-Web palm stitch. No top strap. Mold-Lock cuff. Same as every PIGOSKI glove.
The 13k is just the one named after the run that changed the sport.
